Delivered Tri-Microplasma Spray System

TSV has just delivered new released tri- microplasma spray system to Y co.,ltd. in Kanagawa pref., Japan.

This system was developed on the basis of tri-60kw plasma type spray system, had delivered to the Hiroshima institute of technology 2 years ago.

This time, the torch of this system is miniaturized to the limit for costly metal, and finally it has released as the 15kw plasma spray system.

In this system, Y co.,ltd. requested to form thick film of few microns Pt fine powder in one shot saved some processes, for making optimum size conductors for fitting on element, made through processes of fine film process like PVD.

This system will be put into production after few months test running.

Inquiries to us about micro plasma spray system have been increasing since around fall in 2001.

This system used to be released as the same name as
gmicro plasma spray systemh from Plasma Technological Center in Nagata Tekko Co., Ltd., the previous organization
of TSV.

This is a corting apparatus placed between the themal spray method which is rough but very fast and the fine film product process which is fine but slow like PVD or CVD as the corting process. Several micron diameter powder is sprayed by plasma process under atmosphere control. If it had powderfeeder of core technology, it had prospect to achieve the aim, while it had some problems. (ex. It canft make oxides, A yield rate of expensive fine metal powder is low. etc.)

10 years after that, TSV had 2 major technologies. One is AM FEEDER which enables to use any powder from fine powder to conventional powder, and the other is tri-microplasma torch which can restrict source material dispersion loss and make the pattern small by feeding powder into the axis of plasma. Holding and applying these 2 great technologies made present system great stride and this system was released again as the new micro plasma spray system.

These technologies have gotten attention at present times, for research and development of nano technology.

The new plasma spray system we have already informed was delivered to newly established the plasma spray laboratory of second high technical center in Hiroshima institute of technology.

Now this system is under making a test run and adjustment with education for operators, it will be finished by the end of May.

TSVfs plasma torch for high melting efficient spray S-SPG series we have guided its release in this topics was adopted in TSVfs atmosphere controlled spray system, and we received an order from a certain private university in Kansai region,
Japan
. It speedy brings into production and it is going to make delivery by the end of March.

This system has special 2 features that any plasma spray system never had before. One is keeping high melting efficiency by feeding powder material into the axis of plasma without loosing energy efficiency. The other is which enables to use any powder including fine powder.

The first feature has come from to be realized progress of melting efficiency and energy efficiency, because TSVfs best seller SPG torch was positioned skillfully and it compensated heat loss results from unjust position of conventional tri-plasma torch.

Tri- plasma torch itself is not so novel one, it has ever used in various fields in expectation of getting good results from symmetry in feeding powder.

This system can be divided into way of Osaka university that has a common positive pole with 3 negative poles, and way of independent tri-plasma system that has independent 3 positive poles with each negative pole. The latter can also be divided into the one from the way of Nagata Tekko Co., Ltd. which is placed independently 3 torches in every 120as close as possible each others and gets plasma jet together at a point, and the other AXIAL‡V from Mettech Japan Co., Ltd. which puts 3 pairs of electrodes in a torch. The brand-new AXIAL‡V in history seems to be better than any other system for increasing melting efficiency. In this system, powder is feeded into the axis of a compound plasma by 3 plasma for realizing high melting efficiency, but putting a point of 3 plasma positioning parallel each other makes passage of plasma longer and make heatfs loss larger.

On the other hand, TSVfs (S-SPG plasma torch) cleared this problem and found the best position of 3 electorodes which makes passage of plasma shorter by intensive development with TSVfs original know-how it has been cultivated by development of plasma torch.

The second feature was easily attained for TSV if plasma torch increases melting efficiency, because we have own powder-feed technology that any powder can be fed proved by producing the powder feeder called gAM seriesh.

The distinctive and important features no one has are these 2 points. These features will work as powerful weapons for research of new film in near the future.

In conventional type of powder feeder, only well-liquidity powder was used for limitation of principle, but TSV developed a new surface tracking type powder-feed principle and it cleared this problem, it made possible to feed any powder from fine powder to conventional powder under controlling equally and precisely. This principle was adopted to make new powder feeder as gAM seriesh and it has been sold since last year.
gAM seriesh has given satisfactory results and it expands a possibility in research and project site that needs quantitative feeder.
